The Orville returned to Thursdays last night, and it did so with reduced ratings.
The Orville Season 2 Episode 2 scored a mere 0.6 rating (2.8 million total viewers) in the demo, slipping seven-tenths from Sunday's episode.
These figures mark series lows for the series which averaged a 1.3 rating last season.
Before that, the final season of Gotham got underway with a 0.7 rating (2.6 million total viewers), on par with last season's average.
Over on NBC, The Blacklist returned with a 0.9 rating, building a tenth vs. last season's finale.
The true test will be whether it can maintain these ratings when it moves to Fridays this evening.
Also on NBC, The Titan Games launched with a rock-solid 1.8 rating (6.5 million total viewers).
Over on CBS, The Big Bang Theory (12.6 million/2.2 rating), Young Sheldon (10.9 million/1.7 rating), and S.W.A.T. (6 million/0.9 rating) were all up.
