Freeform took to the Television Critics Association winter press tour on Tuesday and finally revealed when fans can expect two fan-favorites to return to the air.
We're talking about The Bold Type and Marvel's Cloak and Dagger here, TV Fanatics.
The cabler has slotted The Bold Type Season 3 in for Tuesday, April 9.
The good news here is that fans will not have to wait until the summer for new episodes to get underway.
The Bold Type focuses on three friends – Jane (Katie Stevens), Kat (Aisha Dee), and Sutton (Meghann Fahy) – who all work for Scarlet, a global women's magazine.
The show explores their outrageous lives in New York City as they learn to find their own voices and explore their sexuality, identity, love, and fashion.
It's unclear whether Freeform plans to order more episodes for a winter run at this stage, but it will likely depend on the ratings.
The Bold Type Season 2 averaged 0.3 million total viewers and a 0.14 rating in the demo.
While not a heavy hitter in linear ratings, the show is a buzzy one.
As for Marvel's Cloak and Dagger, that will return to the air Thursday, April 4.
What's more, it will have a two-hour premiere. It's a great little surprise for fans of the show.
It follows two teenagers, Tandy Bowen, and Tyrone Johnson, who come from different backgrounds and have acquired superpowers after a life-changing event that revolved around the collapse of the Roxxon Gulf Platform.
As their relationship unfolds, they soon realize that their powers work better when they are together, but their feelings for each other makes their already complicated world even more challenging.
Freeform also revealed during TCA that Good Trouble and Grownish had been renewed for additional seasons.
What are your thoughts on these premiere dates?
