On Arrow Season 7 Episode 12, a documentary team followed Oliver and the team around town.
The purpose of the project was to educate viewers about what it was like to be vigilantes.
There was also a big emphasis on the Green Arrow and what the city was losing by Oliver not taking to the streets.
However, the plans for the documentary were derailed when William returned from boarding school.
Oliver had to try and reconnect with his son after months apart thanks to the former mayor's stint in prison.
Meanwhile, a new threat tried to plunge the city into darkness, while Oliver tried to make sense of the fact he had a half-sister.
