God Friended Me Season 1 Episode 15 Review: Two Guys, a Girl, and a Thai Food Place

"I think it's nice to see people realize that they were right for each other all along."

Long pause.

Well, God Friended Me Season 1 Episode 15 finally gave us the moment where Miles took his own advice.

No Memory - Tall - God Friended Me Season 1 Episode 15

Miles and Cara both decided that they were right for each other all along!

After a little nudge from Fliss and the Universe, Miles asked Cara out on a formal date.

The best part was that Miles had a redo of the first time he wanted to ask Cara out right before Eli showed up and rudely interrupted.

The street, the flowers, it was all the same, but this time, it felt even more right than before.

I guess we really should trust the timing of our lives.

Of course, Cara said yes and arrived shortly after wearing a stunning red dress that made Miles' jaw drop.

Get it, girl! I never saw her looking that dressed up when she was dating Eli, just saying!

Reverand Andrew: I know how to write a sermon.
Ali: Not at his church.

With all the love blooming around them, and in addition to all the matchmaking they've been doing, it was about time these two ventured out of the friend-zone.

Everyone's seen the chemistry between them except the two of them!

There was so much love in the air on God Friended Me Season 1 Episode 15 that I could not stop smiling like a goofball.

Seeing Fliss again was a welcome surprise and, on an episode that emphasized soulmates and 'the one,' it was heartwarming that even she found her soulmate while helping Miles' new friend suggestion.

It's about time.

If Cupid existed, his name would be Miles.

The Friend Suggestion of the week also centered around love.

Who else felt terrible about Vivian? It's bad enough that she had a brain aneurysm the day of her wedding, but she also didn't remember what she did the hours leading up to it. What a terrible feeling that must be.

And to top it all off, she didn't know if she loved Aiden or if she met someone else that night.

Thankfully, as Cara and Miles helped her piece it all back together, she realized that right before tragedy struck she fell in love with Aiden all over again and wanted nothing more than to marry him.

Much like Miles, I was rooting for Aiden the whole time. He spent ten months by Vivian's side until she woke up. That's true love!

Sometimes, the God Account offers up a suggestion that inadvertently helps Miles realize his next steps.

I'll forever be thankful for Viv and Aiden since they are the reason Miles mustered up the confidence to follow his own heart.

Even Jaya came back to town to accompany Rakesh to his work mixer.

I Remember Now - God Friended Me Season 1 Episode 15

Jaya and Rakesh have been relationship goals since the beginning, but nothing could have prepared me for how romantic Jaya was when she pushed Rakesh to follow his dreams.

You hold onto a woman who supports your dreams!

The good news is that she's moving back to New York City for her residency so hopefully, she'll become a more permanent part of the 'God Account' team.

Speaking of the God Account, we finally met the Simon Hayes, and he was slightly underwhelming.

The way Pria talked him up, I was expecting someone a bit older than Rakesh and more dominating of the room.

But I won't take away from the fact that he agreed to move his whole team from Palo Alto to New York City strictly for Rakesh to be on the team.

It was a bold move on Rakesh' part considering he recently started leading the tech team. No matter how great you are, you usually don't start making major requests until you're a little more established.

In this case, Rakesh took a shot, and it paid off.

It does make me wonder if there is a specific reason that Hayes wants Rakesh on the team.

New York or Palo Alto - God Friended Me Season 1 Episode 15

He was very cryptic about the type of project Rakesh would be working on, which is weird considering he wanted Rakesh to uproot his whole life to work on it.

The way Hayes described the 'revolutionary' project, it seems like he's been pulling the strings on the God Account.

He mentioned the project was in its trial phase and that it would "help a lot of people."

I know what she's going through. Okay? I went through it with Eli. You think she wants to be having these feelings, these doubts? You don't think she wants to feel the same way that he does about her? Yeah, it sucks, but it's not her fault Miles. She needs to know what happened. They both do.

Cara

Miles could very well be the trial, and we already know that the work he's doing alongside Cara and Rakesh is helping a lot of people.

Hayes also mentioned Henry Chase, compared Rakesh' coding style to Chase's, and even complimented Rakesh on all the times he hacked into the system.

Obviously, if he's seen Rakesh's online footprint at IdentitySeal, he knows that Rakesh has been looking into the God Account.

Why else would he be the only man for the job?

Work Mixer - God Friended Me Season 1 Episode 15

Usually, bosses don't move whole teams to different cities for just any old employee.

And Rakesh wouldn't be just another person on the team; he would be Hayes' right-hand man! Talk about getting close to the person you're looking into.

It could go one of two ways. Either Rakesh will get some useful information from Hayes, or he's going to sabotage his whole relationship with him by trying to find out too much too quickly.

Though, if Hayes isn't the creator of the God Account, he may have the skills to help them figure it out!

Worst case scenario, he's a direct connection to Chase! Something tells me, Hayes knows where he's hiding out!

Vivian: Do you believe in soul mates?
Miles: You sound like Cara. But no, I believe in love. Soul mates, it feels too easy, like we're supposed to just sit back and wait for something to happen. No, love is more than that. It's a collection of shared experiences that lets you know they're the one.

As for Rev. Finer, we know that he's on borrowed time when it comes to running Harlem Episcopal.

The good news is that he does seem much more open to change than he did before Andrew got assigned to the church.

His lesson to Andrew on finding his voice and becoming the kind of person God wanted him to be is a lesson we can all adopt on a Sunday night. Or any night for that matter.

Mr. Simon Hayes - God Friended Me

Use your voice to get what your heart desires.

It worked for Miles when it came to Cara, it worked for Rakesh when it came to his new secret gig, and it'll work for you.

God Friended Me continues to be the show that gives you a reason to smile.

Were you intrigued by Simon Hayes? Are you happy Jaya is back?

On a scale of 1-10, how excited are you for Cara and Miles' first date?

And how much do you want to bet it will be interrupted by the God Account?
