It looks like Lori Loughlin won't need to travel to Canada as a part of her bail agreement after all.

In the wake of her participation in the college admissions scandal, Hallmark has severed ties with the once-popular star.

It's not a surprise given Hallmark's reputation for good, clean, fun entertainment.

Loughlin has been a staple on the Hallmark networks for years.

Loughlin was a series regular on the period drama When Calls the Heart, not only one of Hallmark's most-watched shows but one of the most-watched shows on all of cable television.

Loughlin also appeared in the very popular Garage Sales Mysteries series, which was planning a four-week event this coming August.

Loughlin also appeared in Northpole: Open for Christmas, the second part in a series of holiday movies starring Bailee Madison as an elf.

Loughlin's actions have not only put her and her family in jeopardy but Hallmark and all who worked with Loughlin in some of the network's most successful projects.

"We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations," the company said.

"We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin, including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production."

Lori Laughlin Unhappy

Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Gianulli face charges of felony conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud for their part in the college admissions scandal.

The couple allegedly paid $500,000 in bribes to have their two daughters admitted to USC with the caveat the girls were a part of their crew team when, in fact, the girls had never participated in crew.

To prove their girls had been on crew, the admissions board accepted photos of the girls on rowing machines in lieu of any other evidence, says the criminal complaint.

Their daughter, Olivia Jade Giannulli, is a popular YouTube star and also found herself without representation from Sephora, as they chose to stop collaborating with her on her makeup line.

Forty-eight other people were accused in the scandal including Felicity Huffman of Desperate Housewives fame.

The scandal not only included several coaches but allowed for students to make higher SAT and ACT scores by falsifying records or outright cheating by way of extra time and others subbing in for the students taking the exams.

There hasn't been any word on how the scandal fallout will effect Huffman.

Other stars are beginning to weigh in on the mess, including Rob Lowe, who shared a tweet from his son, John Owen Lowe, who tweeted that he spent months preparing for college exams which were "no joke" while also sharing his appreciation for the privileges he was awarded growing up.

Bethany Frankel admitted she was "confused all around" by the scandal and thought kids not smart enough to get into universities on their own merits should be applying to "bubblegum university."
