TV Ratings Report: For The People and Station 19 Return Steady

at .

TGIT was back in action on Thursday night.

Station 19 returned after a lengthy hiatus to 5.4 million total viewers and a 1.0 rating.

The numbers were in line with its fall average and on par with what A Million Little Things did in the slot.

Defending a Gamer - For The People

For The People Season 2 got underway on a new night and it scored 3.2 million total viewers and a 0.6 rating.

For The People Season 1 averaged 2.5 million total viewers and a 0.6 rating, so this is a decent return for the series.

The ratings are not great, but given the erosion for the 10/9c dramas on ABC, it could snag another renewal.

Grey's Anatomy started off ABC's night with 6.6 million total viewers and a 1.5 rating, slipping a tenth week-to-week.

Over on Fox, Gotham (2.1 million/0.6 rating) dipped in total viewers, but was steady in the demo, while The Orville (2.9 million/0.6 rating) slipped two-tenths to match its series low.

The Big Bang Theory (12.8 million/2.1 rating) and Mom (8.4 million/1.2 rating) each took a hit at CBS, while Young Sheldon (11.5 million/1.7 rating) and SWAT (5.6 million/0.9 rating) were steady. Fam (5.7 million/0.9 rating) inched up a tenth.

Dean Has a Savior - Supernatural Season 14 Episode 14

Supernatural (1.3 million/0.4 rating) returned after another hiatus and it took a hit. Legacies (0.9 million/0.2 rating) was also on the downside.

Superstore (3.1 million/0.8 rating) returned up a tenth for NBC, but A.P. Bio (1.9 million/0.5 rating) was way down with its Season 2 debut.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2 million/0.6 rating) took a hit, while Will & Grace (2.6 million/0.7 rating) perked up.
