Felicity Huffman is pleading guilty for her involvement in the college admissions scandal which found parents paying bribes to get their kids into coveted colleges.

I am pleading guilty to the charge brought against me by the United States Attorney’s Office,” Huffman said in a statement confirming her plea, expounding as follows:

“I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions."

"I want to apologize to them and, especially, I want to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices to support their children and do so honestly.”

Huffman was one of fourteen people who made a guilty plea in the aftermath of the scandal coming to light.

According to the indictment, Huffman and her husband, William H. Macy, paid $15,000 to have someone take the SAT exam in place of her daughter. The score wound up being a 1420 for her.

It has been reported that the pair were going to go a similar route for their younger daughter, but ultimately nixed those plans.

Lori Loughlin is the other high-profile actress who is alleged to be part of the scheme. In Loughlin's case, the fallout has been far more severe.

Hallmark has cut all ties with her, resutling in Garage Sale Mysteries being outright canceled, and When Calls the Heart went on a creative hiatus to craft a way to get rid of Loughlin's character.

"We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations," Crown Media said last month.

"We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin, including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production."

Loughlin, along with her husband, Mossimo Gianulli face charges of federal conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.

They allegedly paid $500,000 in bribes to get their two daughters into USC.

The girls were supposed to be part of the crew team. However, it has been alleged the admissions board accepted pictures of the girls on rowing machines, despite them never participating in crew.
