Lucifer Season 4 has a premiere date!

Netflix on Wednesday dropped a brand new teaser that showed Lucifer getting out of a swimming pool and posing for the cameras.

The show will return for its first season on Netflix on Wednesday, May 8 with ten brand new installments.

The good news for fans who have waited almost a year for new episodes is that Netflix will be releasing all the episodes at once.

That means there will be no mini hiatuses between the episodes. Fans will be able to watch all ten episodes the day they are released.

Yes, Netflix always drops full seasons, but this is an even bigger deal for Lucifer which suffered last season from random breaks.

Lucifer was canceled by Fox last year, and fans desperately campaigned for the series to find a new home.

After weeks of uncertainty, Tom Ellis, who plays Lucifer confirmed the show was coming back last June.

Showrunner Joe Henderson reacted to show being saved with the following message:

"So relax, take a breath, put some ice on those fingers that have been hashtagging up a storm... and get ready for more deviltime 😈"
