CBS may well cancel the show if it continues to drop. Not helping matters is that the show has been in the press for all the wrong reasons of late.

The Neighborhood (6.2 million/1.0 rating), Man with a Plan (5.3 million/0.8 rating), and Magnum P.I. (5.5 million/0.7 rating) were all steady.

Over on The CW, Legends of Tomorrow returned with a 0.3 rating and just under 1 million total viewers, right on par with its fall average.

A two-hour installment of American Idol (6.2 million/1.1 rating) was down a tenth. The Fix (3 million/0.5 rating) lost the same.

The Resident (5.1 million/0.9 rating) held steady, while a wild episode of 9-1-1 (6.1 million/1.3 rating) inched up a tenth.
