TV Ratings Report: Elementary Returns Steady at CBS

Elementary returned for its final season on Thursday night, and it was steady for CBS.
Elementary Season 7 Episode 1 garnered 4.1 million total viewers and a 0.5 rating, on par with Elementary Season 6's average.
The only other original on CBS was Life in Pieces. The soon-to-conclude comedy series dipped to 4.5 million total viewers and a 0.6 rating.
Fox's Paradise Hotel remained a bust with a mere 1.2 million viewers and a 0.4 rating across two-hours.
It should be interesting to see how Love Island, a similar format will hold up when it launches on CBS later in the summer.
The CW's rotation of iZombie (0.8 million/0.2 rating) and In The Dark (0.6 million/0.2 rating) remained well out of the competitive loop.
ABC went with a This Is Farrah Fawcett (5.7 million/0.7 rating) special, and it won the night in the demo.
