Supergirl: Jeremy Jordan Returning for Season 5!

It's official!

Supergirl Season 5 is bringing back Jeremy Jordan as Winn Schott. 

The actor revealed the news via Instagram on Thursday afternoon. 

"Turns out Winn didn't go 1000 years into the future, just to season 5! 😊 So happy to come back and play with my friendsssssss!! @supergirlcw," he said.

ET Online later revealed that Jordan would be back for three episodes following this year's Arrowverse Crisis on Infinite Earths, so there's that. 

The character was last seen on Supergirl Season 3, which concluded with him traveling 1000 years into the future.

“It’s been the adventure of a lifetime, and breathing life into that brilliant, quirky, puppy dog nugget named Winn has been a true joy," Jordan said on Instagram in 2018 announcing his temporary exit.

"But lately, my gut has ben telling me that I’m once again ready to begin a new chapter in my life… and if I’ve learned anything, it’s that you gotta listen to your gut,” he continued.

“I want to thank everyone behind the scenes at Supergirl for understanding it was time for me to return home… to spend time with my wife and friends, and focus on crafting the next stage of my career.”

It will be fun to see what brings Winn back to National City and whether he managed to prevent a disaster in the future.

More Supergirl scoop is expected over the weekend when the Arrowverse shows turn up the heat at San Diego Comic-Con. 

What we do know is that Supergirl Season 5 will get underway Sunday, October 6 at 9/8c.
