The Walking Dead is Already "Working On" Bringing Lauren Cohan Back
Paul Dailly at .With the raft of departures over the last few years on The Walking Dead, there's hope for one fan-favorite.
Lauren Cohan, who bowed out of The Walking Dead early into its ninth season, could be staging a comeback.
“I’m not sure if I can say much about it right now, actually,” showrunner Angela Kang told Entertainment Weekly, adding:
“I’ll just say that we’re working on it.”

If you watch The Walking Dead online, you know that Maggie's storyline came to a close when she exited off-screen by going away with Georgie to help other emerging communities.
It was a polarizing exit, but at least the character was not killed off and that there is hope for her to pop back up.
Cohan left the series to join the cast of ABC's Whiskey Cavalier, but the series failed to pull in a sizeable audience for the network, and it was canceled at the close of its first season.
Andrew Lincoln recently exited the series, and Danai Gurira is bowing out of the series during the tenth season. Both stars will reportedly appear in a trio of The Walking Dead movies.
Kang also revealed to Entertainment Weekly that Dante, a popular comic book character, would be joining the show.
In the comic books, Dante and Maggie have a relationship, so it's possible that this could have something to do with Cohan's potential return plot.
