The End of the F***ing World Season 2 Trailer: Who Might Be Dead?

at .

It's almost time for The End of the F***ing World's return.

To celebrate, Netflix has dropped the official trailer for the highly anticipated second season, and it looks just as good as before.

The fate of James was left up in the air at the close of the freshman run, and we have bad news if you think the trailer is going to spoil that big twist.

Instead, we get to see Alyssa "dealing with the fallout of the events" of Season 1.

It's also possible that she could be moving on with her life, you know, given that she's wearing a wedding dress in a lot of the trailer.

The odd thing about all of this is that Alyssa does not look happy. She's always had a bleak outlook on life, and it looks like that will continue into her wedding day.

Could she be mourning his death? The previous poster did show her with an urn while wearing a wedding dress.

The only glimpse we get into the fate of James is a bullet with his name on it, which seems to suggest there will be some crazy twists in store for fans.

There's also a new cast member in Naomi Ackle, who plays Bonnie, an outsider who has a mysterious connection to Alyssa.

There are a lot of hints in the trailer about her connection to someone else, but we'll leave you to be the judge of that.

Charlie Covell penned all episodes of the second season, so we have high hopes for it.

The series returns Tuesday, November 5.
