9/8c Succession on HBO.

Succession Season 2 comes to a close with the suggestion that someone is going to have to dive onto the sword to keep the family business afloat. It promises to be a yacht trip to remember!

Elsewhere on HBO, The Righteous Gemstones has its first season finale, and Dwight Johnson's Ballers sees its series premiere on the premium network.

8/7c Batwoman on The CW.

Batwoman's origin story continues to build as Kate Kane dons Cousin Bruce's cape and cowl and takes to the streets of Gotham to prove her theory of who Alice really is.

Hidden forces are revealed to be influencing her search for truth both in the present and in her past. Meanwhile, Alice sets out to eliminate her competition.

9/8c Supergirl on The CW.

The fifth season continues with the regularly scheduled alien attack of the week and a whole lot of investigating. The new reporter at CatCo, William Day, looks into Kara while J'onn asks Kelly for help in solving his long lost brother problem.

10/9c Why We Hate on Discovery.

This miniseries from acclaimed director Alex Gibney and producer Steven Spielberg examine hatred and how we can fight it by suggesting it's hardwired into our DNA as human beings. It sounds like powerful stuff.

The Rookie Review: The Night General

10/9c The Rookie on ABC.

The Rookie finalizes the ABC Cast from the Past fun when Nathan Fillion is reunited with two former Castle actors. The series continues it's hot-streak with the latest installment.

Tuesday, October 15

8/7c The Resident on FOX.

It's Halloween on The Resident which results in one of the most thrilling and engaging hours of the series to date. Classic horror and medical show tropes merge with surprising results. It's a must-see!

The Resident Round Table: Were You Team Conrad or Team Devon? 

9/8c Arrow on The CW.

The eighth and final season premiere kicks off what is sure to be a series of nostalgic episodes with guest stars Colin Donnell (Tommy Merlyn) and Susanna Thompson (Moira Queen).

The episode, titled "Starling City," is sure to be a blast from the past (and from the future -- we'll see Mia and William face their own problems) that will be a gift to the die-hard fans.

9/8c The Purge on USA. The Purge Season 2 takes a detour from the deadly night in question to give us a look at how the world at large functions with respect to the annual event.

Mr. Robot Review: Unauthorized

10/9c Treadstone on USA. This offshoot of the Bourne franchise features a stellar cast and jumps through timelines explaining how some agents got their start as well as what their status does to them over time.

Wednesday, October 16

10/9c Stumptown on ABC.

War is coming to Stumptown. After the events of Season 1 Episode 3, Dex is out for revenge on Artie. Will she get it or will Artie pull another fast one on her?

Friday, October 18

Tell Me Who I Am is a documentary on Netflix that explores a man, a twin, who suffered a traumatic brain injury at the age of 17 that resulted in amnesia and how he got his life back with the help of his twin.

It also reveals that all he knew was not the truth and why he was forced to start over for the second time in his life after turning 50.

Living with Yourself on Netflix. We'll have a full review of this series starring Paul Rudd later in the week.

When a man wants to use a local service promising rejuvenation to get his life back on track, he discovers that it's not the easy fix he expected but more of a replacement plan.

Lost in Space Season 2: First Look and Premiere Date!

Modern Love on Amazon will also get the full review treatment later in the week. This anthology series based on the New York Times column is a treat on every level.

Saturday, October 19

9/8c Good Witch: Curse From a Rose premieres on Hallmark Channel.

In this Halloween special, Cassie's long-lost college roommate, Autumn Delaney (Lolita Davidovich), makes an unexpected visit to Grey House seemingly on a mission to disrupt Middleton's Halloween festivities.
