According to THR, the franchise will continue with Vikings: Valhalla and the new home will be Netflix.

The streamer has ordered 24 episodes of the series, which will pick up 100 years after the upcoming sixth and final season of the original series. 

"I am beyond excited that we are announcing the continuation of our Vikings saga," Vikings creator, Michael Hirst said.

"I know that the millions of our fans across the globe will be thrilled by the belief being shown in our show by MGM and Netflix."

Over in the world of premium cable, Christina Ricci and Juliette Lewis have been attached to star in Yellowjackets. 

The show has a pilot order and focuses o a high school girls' soccer team that survives a plane crash in the Canadian wilderness.

Lewis is on board as the adult iteration of Natalie, the team's resident troublemaker, while Ricci will play the adult version of Misty, the equipment manager. 

In the world of awards, the voting timeline for the 25th Annual Critics' Choice Awards have been announced. 

The following dates apply for the 25th annual CRITICS’ CHOICE AWARDS, honoring the finest in television achievement in 2019.

November 25, 2019 – NomComs begin consideration

December 6, 2019 – NomComs render recommendations

December 8, 2019 – Critics’ Choice Awards TV nominations announced

January 9, 2020 – Final ballots go out to BTJA members

January 10, 2020 – Deadline for returning final ballots

The 25th annual Critics’ Choice Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2020, at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California and will be broadcast live on The CW television network.

A Glee veteran is joining The Bold Type Season 4!

EW is reporting that Chord Overstreet will appear on the forthcoming season as Jane's brother, Evan. 

He is slated to appear on The Bold Type Season 4 Episode 8, but there has been no confirmation whether he will appear in any episodes beyond that. 

The series returns to Freeform in January and will clock in at 18 episodes this time.
