The CW Sets Finale Dates for Arrow and Supernatural

at .

The CW is saying goodbye to two of its longest running series in 2020.

The network has confirmed series finale dates for both Arrow and Supernatural.

Arrow will wrap-up for good with a two-hour event on Tuesday, January 28. A finale preview with cast commentary will air in the 8/7c slot, with the 60 minute finale to follow.

Oliver Queen2 - Arrow Season 8 Episode 1

We knew the series would be ending soon after the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover concluded, and now we have that date.

That particular crossover is said to change the DC TV universe forever, so expect there to be some hints about how Arrow will conclude.

If you're not ready to say goodbye to the show, then there's a glimmer of good news. A female-led spinoff featuring Katie Cassidy, Juliana Harkavy, and Kat McNamara is in the works at The CW.

Black Siren - Arrow Season 8 Episode 1

A backdoor pilot will air as an episode of Arrow later this season.

As for Supernatural, CW is not letting it go to the grave without one final timeslot change. The series is moving to Mondays in March.

The series finale will air Monday, May 18.

The network has revealed that both All American and Black Lightning will wrap their current seasons Monday, March 9.

Young Heartbreak - All American Season 2 Episode 4

As if that wasn't enough news, the network also set premiere dates for Riverdale spinoff, Katy Keene, Roswell New Mexico, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

Katy Keene, starring Lucy Hale in the title role, will debut Thursday, February 6 at 8/7c. It will be paired with Legacies.

While many thought the series would be paired with Riverdale, the network has other plans. Katy Keene and Legacies do appeal to similar audiences, so this is a decent move.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow will return for its fith season Tuesday, January 21 at 9/8c out of Arrow. But fans will see the characters in the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover, so there's that.

Making a Connection - Roswell, New Mexico

Finally, Roswell, New Mexico is moving to Mondays. The second season of the reboot will be paired up with the final episodes of Supernatural.

The network has yet to confirm when the final season of The 100 will premiere, but the show has been used on the summer schedule in the past, so look for a similar scenario again.
