Initially, she refuses but eventually agrees because of the cold. He introduces himself as Jamie.
He asks her if she is trans and she rebukes him for asking that so soon.
At her stop, she invites him up and they have sex.

A few days later, Jamie stops by and tries to come to see Robyn. Kevin is dressed as himself and asks him to come back in 30 minutes.
When Jamie returns, Kevin has transformed into Robyn.
Jamie asks her about Kevin and Robyn says he's dull but he pays the bills.
After they have sex, he hurriedly gets dressed and she returns his wedding band. He tells her his wife died in a car accident the prior year.
He tells her he can't do this- it's not him- and he leaves.
Kevin is on a date and the date seems into him until he reveals he performs in drag. The date is turned off and explains he is not into that scene.
Kevin answers a call from Jamie who ghosted him the last time they were together. Jamie asks him out for later and Kevin goes to his club and puts on his makeup.

Kevin visits the department store where she works and makes friends with Jamie's wife, Natalie.
She helps Kevin try on the dress and he inquires about her marital status.
She reveals they have been married for 8 years with no kids. He buys two dresses from her and they drink champagne while she tells him about her life.
She tells him that Jamie was molested as a child by a gay man. Kevin tells her his guy was married.
Later, Natalie confronts Jamie who has come home drunk again. He gets aggressive when she suggests counseling and throws a bottle.
He tries to make amends and tells her he will think about it.
She tells him about the gay customer who came through and made her think about their marriage.
Jamie calls Kevin and confronts him about stalking his wife. They meet in public and argue.
Jamie lashes out at him and they argue. Kevin tells him that being molested didn't make him gay.
Natalie had seen and heard their entire argument.
Later Jamie calls crying. He tells Kevin that he told his wife and she left him. He asks if they could run away together.
Kevin agrees.
The camera pans to Natalie's dead body on the ground.
The next day, Robyn and Jamie prepare to hit the road. She is dressed in full drag.
The prosecutor questions Kevin on the stand. She attempts to make Kevin look obsessed with Jamie and Natalie.
Jamie pulls his car to a secluded location and cries. Robyn tries to comfort him. He asks does she love him and she says of course.
He admits that he didn't tell Natalie. She already knew. He admits that he killed her in an argument and that she's in the trunk.
And he wants her help disposing of the body.
The prosecutor puts Kevin at the scene of the crime.
At the secluded location, Robyn sees the body in the trunk and runs away.
Back in the courtroom, his lawyer tells him that he can take a plea deal.
He scratches at the fingernail polish. He asks the lawyer for an hour.
When he returns to the courtroom, he is dressed as Robyn, flanked by his drag queen friends.
The courtroom explodes with outrage and his lawyer redirects the cross-examination.
She admits that she does not go out like this in public, but she made an exception on the day of the murder. She mentions that she gets attention when she goes out so why would she go out like this to dump a body?
She goes through her outfit, hair, and makeup and asks why would she wear this to dispose of a body.
Robyn tells the courtroom that Jamie was ashamed of being gay and that's why he wouldn't tell the truth about her involvement.
Still dressed as Robyn, Kevin Milstead is found Not Guilty on all counts.
Jamie's brother leaves in outrage.
Robyn sings using her own voice and performs for the club.
