One of the more intense actors on television is prepared to show his lighter side.
Andre Braugher, fresh off a critically-acclaimed albeit ratings-challenged run on Last Resort, has been cast on one of the more anticipated comedies of the new pilot season.
The actor will portray Captain Holt on a single-camera Fox comedy from Mike Schur. It stars Andy Samberg as one of a diverse group of detectives in New York, with Braughter’s 30-year veteran dead set on not messing up his first command.
