A week before Bones hits Comic-Con and reveals a number of Season 9 scoops and tidbits, we’ve uncovered a couple spoilers regarding what fans can expect to see this fall.
First, according to Michael Ausiello, the September 16 season premiere will be titled “The Secrets in the Proposal.” And executive producer Stephen Nathan is here to explain why:
“We want to continue exploring how Booth and Brennan adjust after their ill-fated proposal and the secret Booth is forced to keep. Secrets will be a theme we keep alive – and dead (we are a murder show after all) – in the episode.”
As for how that secret may eventually get resolved?
TV Guide Magazine reports that the series is casting for an ex-priest from Booth’s past who will resurface and somehow tie up the Pelant problem… while also pushing Booth and Brennan toward the future.
That’s nice and mysterious. And will give us plenty to ask Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz on the Comic-Con red carpet next Friday!
