It's one and done for Chambers.
The Netflix thriller which boasted a cast that included Uma Thurman and Tony Goldwyn has been canceled after one season, according to Variety.
The series launched in April and focused on a teenager who experiences disturbing visions, leading her on a path to solving the mystery of her donor's death.

In the process, she had to confront many different things as she attempted to pick up the pieces.
“Chambers will not return for a second season,” the streaming network said in a statement.
“We’re grateful to creator and showrunner Leah Rachel for bringing this story to us and to her fellow executive producers Alfonso Gomez Rejon, Steve Gaghan from Super Emotional, Winnie Kemp and Wolfgang Hammer from Super Deluxe, and Jennifer Yale."
"We’re also thankful to the tireless crew, and to our incredible cast, especially Uma Thurman, Tony Goldwyn and talented newcomer Sivan Alyra Rose.”
While Netflix has admitted in the past to basing renewal decisions on 28 day viewing data, it appears that the streamer waited longer to see if the series picked up some steam.
However, Chambers joins shows such as Everything Sucks!, Girl Boss, and The Good Cop as show's that never made the cut for second seasons.

The streamer is becoming more cutthroat of late with renewal and cancellation decisions. All of the Marvel shows have been nixed, as well as buzzy comedies One Day at a Time and Santa Clarita Diet.
Chambers was not that well received by critics, with our own review calling it an "inspired thriller that goes off the rails."
As things stand, the series finale ended on the mother of all cliffhangers, and the chances of the show getting a reprieve are slim at this stage.
