Akira is the Japanese goto guy on The Simpsons.  Need a Japanese guy that owns the local sushi shop, "The Happy Sumo?"  Akira.  Need a sensei?  Akira.  During his first appearance, Akira was voiced by George Takei, but has since been replaced by Hank Azaria, who does an impression of Takei.
