Before Case’s arrival on the show, the role was briefly played by Monica Potter and Heidi Mark. Sharon is best known as Sharon Newman a name she took on upon marrying Joshua Morrow’s Nicholas Newman in 1996 until her remarriage to Peter Bergman’s Jack Abbott in 2007.
