The intelligence unit investigates the beheadings of people linked with a colombian drug gang. When the unit investigates the first beheading's house directly they find a boy, D'Anthony, hiding in the closet. As the unit stays hot on the gang leader's tail more beheadings begin to pile up, and other district police units begin to impede Voight's investigations.
The unit tries their best to get D'Anthony to talk, but he stays quiet before being released to his relatives. Voight gives D'Anthony his phone number, and tells D'Anthony he's ready to help when the boy decides it is time to get out of the gang. Later, D'Anthony gives Voight a call, and gives him the information he needs to catch the leader, but not before the other police unit hides information from Voight and putting one of his members in the direct line of fire with a gunshot wound to the neck.
While the gang's leader might be in custody his hitmen are not. The episode closes with Antonio's wife calling him and informing him that their son was kidnapped.
