Community Season 5 Episode 7 Recap: Bondage and Beta Male Sexuality

-Professor Duncan attends a charity peformance of a play with Britta, in an attempt to get in her pants.

-Britta runs into some of her old activist friends at the performance, all of whom have gone on to "sell out."

-Jeff decides he, too, is attracted to Britta. He and Duncan spar about who is allowed to come on to her. Jeff agrees to let Duncan go for it.

-Britta's old friends are cruel to her, leaving her feeling low for not being successful.

-Duncan begins to make his move, but realizes that he should be a better friend to Jeff instead, and backs off.

-Duncan returns to the bar to meet up with Jeff, where they re-establish their friendship.

-Abed tries to befriend Professor Hickey on his way to the "Kickpuncher" premiere.

-But when Abed accidentally ruins a pile of Hickey's papers, Hickey handcuffs him to a filing cabinet to teach him a lesson and make him miss the premiere.

-Abed and Hickey bond a bit over Hickey's cartooning hobby–but then angrily lash out at each other,calling out each other's character weaknesses.

-Abed thinks Hickey is a talentless bully, Hickey thinks Abed is a coddled, pampered child.

-The two eventually make up, and decide to become writing partners, as each has what the other lacks creatively.

-Chang enters an enchanted closet at a theater, where he is suddenly on stage performing a one-man show for an appreciative audience.

-However, a janitor informs Chang that the closet is haunted, and the audience members are all ghosts.

-The audience members inform Chang that the janitor is a ghost, sending him into an existential tailspin that ends with him imagining that he might be a ghost, too.
