Rossi is hovering over Garcia, asking her to zoom zoom zoom in on the face at the hardware store. He can sense she's not slept well, but he doesn't care. This is important.
There are strange little mannerisms that Rossi spots in the video that make him crazy.
Elias is hunting a woman named Ramona. He says he's Lee, and she knows him. He wants a walkthrough this evening, and she confirms.
JJ and Will are getting the kids ready for school. Once they leave, it's time for coffee and conversation. Will asks about leads on Sicarius. He knows Rossi will be taking it hard that they haven't solved the case. While they're talking, Henry comes in to get a book he forgets, and he overhears them talking about Will's health.
Lee and Ramona are at the place where he shows her photos of his daughters. They trade parent chat. But the place they're visiting is too small and doesn't have a view of the mountains. She can take him now, but he thinks that's above and beyond.
As they leave, he's got a smug smirk on his face.
She wakes up duct taped to a chair and inside one of his shipping containers. She thinks it's about money, but he shows her photos of her kids. She'll do anything. His task for sparing her life is to help him save his marriage.
Captain Paul Ballard is visiting Prentiss. He's got info on Cyrus that he thinks could help the Sicarius case. He's got dead Cyrus. The place gave him the creeps. The living room lit up like the 4th of July when they used luminol. They have at least four victims, one of which is Maria Jones.
He's going to run it up the chain.
Tara and Alvez discuss that the victimology doesn't match. Older men and women are powerful, while the young are disenfranchised. They found Sicarius!!! Lee Duvall. His house on Second Street burned, which is why Cyrus took him in. Sicarius used an alias with one of the victims. His alias was Lee.
Alvez is taken aback when Garcia doesn't treat him with derogatory snark. OMG, he says. She is getting some! Tara agrees. She is so getting some.
It's family night for JJ and Will. When Will takes Michael upstairs, Henry asks about Will. He wants a simple yes or no answer and makes her promise she's not just saying it to make him feel better. She promises.
When Will gets downstairs, JJ tells him Henry is acting weird again. It's like he knew something. He was fishing. She tells him about the promise, and Will says they need to make sure they keep it.
Henry is upstairs researching oncologists. He doesn't feel good about the promise.
Elias wants Ramona to look at him like he's her husband. He's forcing her to act out scenarios. She doesn't do it to his satisfaction. He picked her because he knows she can do it. When he holds her at gunpoint, she screams. Why are you treating me this way? I would never treat anyone this way!
Now, he tests out a confession, including that he liked it and that he's being hunted. He thinks he can change, but only if he has her and the girls. She asks, would you hurt my babies? He says he doesn't want to, but he doesn't know.
He spins her chair around, and he imagines Sydney saying it. She's fighting so damn hard for her life. But he's still going to kill her. This is nerve-wracking!
She says she'll stick with him, but there will be strings attached. He knows she's his better half.
Elias allows her to make a call to her family, threatening her that if he doesn't do it himself, he'll send someone else to hurt them. Her husband knows something is going on, but she plays it up even more. She says she needed a break from their marriage and knew that if she told him, he'd try to stop her.
Tara and Alvez try to suss out what happened to Lee. The portable heating unit in the house with his parents was started by a faulty portable heater.
Garcia's got news on Ramona, who was taking Lee on a showing. Prentiss reminds the team the case is closed. She and JJ will run interference with the attorney general. Lewis, Alvez, and Rossi? Wheels up.
Elias sends a message to one of his followers, who says he's a rule follower. Elias has a gift for him. Judging from his location at the playground, the old dude might be a pedo.
Ramona was taken from Second Street. Garcia calls into the jet with news about Ramona calling her husband. Doesn't matter. They're sticking with the case until she's home.
They've got video in which Elias uses video jamming software. The woman they're meeting with knows it's Sicarius.
Elias unties Ramona. He's taking her home. She's scared about the injection, but it's the only way to go.
The pedo arrives at a car and opens the trunk. It's Ramona. That bastard. The old dude's message is that he'll follow the rules.
Ramona's husband wonders if all of this is an overreaction. Rossi shows him the guy at the hardware store. When the husband gets a call from his mother, it reminds Rossi of Elias's mannerisms. He thinks he was ignoring phones from his wife.
Rossi asks for Garcia to cross reference missed calls and unanswered calls.
ForgetMeKnots is the name of the incel on the system that Sicarius uses to recruit and talk to his followers. It leads right to Arthur Keel. He only served three years for attempted murder.
He's listening to the local scanner when he hears the cops are looking for Ramona. He calls Elias. Elias gave him damaged goods. Elias cannot believe it and tells Arthur to get rid of her and get out of town.
Arthur has set it up for her to hang herself no matter what she does. He's going to leave her in that position. Will they be able to find her in time? I think they will!
He doesn't get away. Alvez and Rossi are outside as well as the cops. They give chase. They try talking him out of killing himself, but it doesn't work. Meanwhile, Ramona is still hanging there.
Garcia finds an industrial business his parents had. It has to be the place. But she's dying!! Alvez resuscitates her, and she's reunited with her family. When Tara asks her to do a sketch, all Ramona recalls is what he says about her family, so she lies.
Garcia does have some information about the phone calls, but it's like a needle in a haystack. Without Ramona's help, Prentiss can't go back to the AG. Rossi will work the list in the Pacific Northwest going door to door.
JJ found a bat under Henry's bed. As they're ready to talk about it, Henry comes downstairs asking about the oncologist. He says he'd rather know something than imagine the worst. Will apologizes for not believing Henry could handle the truth and gives it to him with a big hug.
The bat is for protection from Sicarius. He's sussed out who was almost injured in the explosion. Online, it says Sicarius has it out for the FBI. JJ needs to talk about something because, again, he'll just imagine the worst. Henry says his parents are terrible liars and have tells.
Sydney gets a call from Elias. It's been ten days since he walked out. She drags him over it. She googled his name and dead. She says it's not fair, and he agrees. She wonders if it's over, if he'll just never come home. She wonders how he is that he's doing this. He says he doesn't know and has a lot he needs to tell her. He asks to come home, please. She never told him to go.
That will put him in the right place for Rossi to canvass their neighborhood. Uh! Rossi is at the door!
