The first fall premiere date has been announced.
And it's for one of the most anticipated fall returns.
Following what may have been an accidental reveal by Taraji P. Henson, the EmpireWriters Twitter handle has confirmed that Empire Season 2 will kick off on Wednesday, September 23 at 9/8c.
We already know that Chris Rock, Alicia Keys and Lenny Kravitz will appear on Empire Season 2, while the season will be split into a pair of nine-episode cycles.
Moreover, Gabourey Sidibe and Ta’Rhonda Jones – who portray Lucious’ and Cookie’s respective underlings, Becky and Porsha – have been promoted to series regular status.
