Izzie stumbled on her way down the aisle, but George stepped in and helped his old friend make it to the steps, where she exchanged vows with Alex. Tear.
It was a sweet scene when George gave away Izzie to Alex at the wedding, when she became weak and could not walk under her own power. Tears were shed at this website.
Izzie's mom makes an appearance in "No Good at Saying Sorry," the April 30 episode of Grey's Anatomy, and Izzie is not looking altogether thrilled in this picture at least.
