We know from his last visit that Detective Slaughter likes to play rough but that just isn't Richard Castle's style.

An investigation into a vampire fetish community eventually wrapped up with Rick Castle throwing an epic Halloween bash for all of his friends. Castle actually wore two costumes in Castle Season 2 Episode 6, “Vampire Weekend” The first was from Nathan Fillion’s cult favorite Firefly character Capt. Mal Reynolds but for the actual party he dressed as one of his favorite authors, Edgar Allen Poe. Our favorites were Lanie as Cat Woman and Martha as Cruella de Vil.

We're hoping everything turns out okay but brown paper bags don't really seem Castle's style. Maybe he'll break out the good stuff when Kate finally comes home.

And why is Martha's friend at the 12th precinct with Rick? How is she wrapped up in the case?

What kind of stories is Martha sharing about Rick and her family? We'll have to watch Castle Season 8 Episode 4 to find out.

Stephanie Weir guest stars as someone who appears to be an old friend on Castle Season 8 Episode 4, "The Nose"

Martha looks as though she's happy to see an old friend. She's also wearing gorgeous blue earrings that are so very Martha.

Is Castle now bringing cases home with him? Maybe he should consider giving up the P.I. business.

Always check who's on the other side of that door before opening it. Didn't Castle always tout how he lived in a secure building? Security seems to be lacking.

We don't see Beckett back at the loft yet, but it appears that Rick has brought the wine on Castle. "The Nose" is the fifth episode of the show's eighth season.
