Mina and Conrad wait for the paramedics to run down the stats of their latest patient. Attention to details is crucial for quality care, and these doctors are dedicated to quality care even if the rest of the hospital is not at times.
Perhaps we'll come to understand the relationship between Conrad and Lane. They appear to respect one another and they are usually very cordial. They may have a history, but the question is, what kind of history? Unfortunately, with Lilly's health declining, and Nic's suspicions, these two friends may butt heads.
A new patient is in dire need of Dr. Hunter's services. She must have cancer. Can the others put aside their suspicions and differences long enough to help this latest patient in need? Of course, they can. They're professionals, right?!
The rebellious streak continues when Conrad talks Mina into performing an operation that she probably shouldn't be doing. Conrad is all about the ends justifying the means, and Mina is all about getting her hands dirty doing what she was meant to do. Fortunately, their patients benefit most from this.
Conrad takes over when a patient is rushed into the emergency unit. Devon and Conrad have come to an understanding and don't mind working with one another, but sometimes, Conrad feels compelled to take over.
Lily may come to have doubts in Lane by the time this episode is through. Nevertheless, Nic and Conrad will have her back through and through. They promise to take care of her, even if it means confronting the head of oncology.
Conrad has enlisted the help of some of his closest colleagues when he chooses to go rogue again to save a patient. This time, it could cost them greatly. Mina is always down for the cause, but even she has to wonder whether not he wants to go through with it.
Devon offers a comforting hand to a patient, or perhaps a family member of a patient. Devon can be just as arrogant as Conrad, but he's also just as considerate and kind with his patients because he genuinely cares about people.
This patient has taken a beating of some sort. Was it an accident or something more complex? We'll have to see. In the meantime, he'll have to wait for one of Chastain Park's finest to check him out. If he's lucky, he won't get HODAD.
Lily is back at Chastain Memorial, and it has more than Nic's attention. Conrad is finally in on the action too, and once he's in on it, there's no telling where things can go from there. Whatever the case, Conrad will have to face off with Dr. Hunter before this is through.
So, have we decided on a name for these two yet? I'm still sold on Hawkfor. They need one because they are all the goals. Beside every BAMF is an equally as badass bestie. Mina has proven to be a loyal ally and ride or die. Through thick and thin, she has his back, and I imagine Conrad will have hers as well.
