General Hospital Spoilers for Week of 5-19-25: We Have High Hopes for Nurses Ball

General Hospital’s Nurses Ball will air this week.

The event began in 1994 and, over two decades later, continues to entertain viewers and show off the actors’ other talents.

Performances are set and have been “rehearsed” this week during the episodes.

This year’s talent will feature some new additions, including the OG ladies of General Hospital.

Tracy, Anna, Lucy, and Felicia are teaming up.

We expect this to be the event’s highlight.

Of course, General Hospital spoilers tease that not everything goes as planned.

Are You Ready for the Nurses Ball?!

Prepare for the fashion and the drama at the General Hospital Nurses Ball!

This event has been weeks in the making, and now everything will come to a head.

The series teases that lives will be changed forever before the end of the week.

The biggest secret we’ve been waiting to see exposed is that Brook Lynn and Dante’s baby is Gio.

Lulu is hot on the case, and with Cody’s help, it will crack wide open.

Meanwhile, Lucy suffers drama ahead of the opening of the Nurses Ball.

What else is new, right?

The series this week also teases that red carpet arrivals will be filled with tense moments.

Nina will return as a red carpet host because of Crimson, and Drew will be her co-host.

That is a recipe for disaster!

Also, look for Breanna YDE as the special guest.

More Drama in Port Charles

While the Nurses Ball is the main event, side storylines are still being worked out.

Kirstina’s vengeance against Ava haunts Alexis, and no one is any wiser.

Well, except for Ava and Ric.

Portia continues to struggle with her blackmail, and Curtis is on to something being up.

Things between Drew and Curtis come to a head, with likely no resolution.

Meanwhile, Nina is upset about Carly’s move to get Michael and Willow’s children into her possession.

When two worlds collide for Joss, will she be able to maneuver Carly and Vaughan in the same place?

The Return of the Nurses Ball Return is Long Overdue

The Nurses Ball began in 1994 as a benefit to raise money for awareness and funding for HIV/Aids.

It ran for eight consecutive years before the writers opted not to continue.

Lucy Coe has always been the master of ceremonies, and the hospital staff has always participated.

After ending its initial run, the Nurses Ball returned in 2013 and continued through 2019.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic and ABC’s strict protocols, the Nurses Ball was held in August instead of May.

It was moved to a telethon to support first responders.

There was no Nurses Ball in 2021 or 2022, and it returned in 2023, with Maxie and Bobbie co-chairing the event.

Lucy was in hiding, and no one knew it, but she came out after watching the TV coverage.

The Nurses Ball did not air last year, so its return this week excites us about what’s next.
