Glenn Howerton is set to lay down the law on The Mindy Project.
And maybe lay down the show’s title character in the process.
In news broken by E!, the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star will appear on multiple Season 2 episodes as Cliff Gilbert, a mild-mannered lawyer who meets Mindy on the season’s fourth installment and sets about trying to woo the adorable physician.
Howerton is one of several new/familiar faces who will pop up on The Mindy Project Season 2. Others include:
- Kris Humphries as himself.
- James Franco as a model-turned-doctor.
- Adam Pally as a new colleague of Mindy’s.
The sitcom returns on Tuesday, September 17.
