So much is up in the air right now on Grey’s Anatomy. With so many couples in flux, and major stories looming left and right, the end of the season has great potential.
Let’s start with Lexie and Avery. According to TV Line, there’s a bit of a time jump in the early part of May sweeps, and when the action picks up, they’re still an item.
As for Mark and Lexie, we’re about to find out how he feels about her dating Jackson: “Callie mentions that he is devastated by it,” reveals Chyler Leigh.
Who’s a better match for Chyler Leigh’s Lexie?
“We don’t really see much interaction between Mark and Lexie in the next couple of episodes,” the actress reveals, disappointingly. However, “I’m sure it will come to a head [the next time] they’re in the same room together for more than a few minutes.”
As for other couples whose future seems unwritten at the moment …
“I don’t think the end of the season is going to be easy for any of our fans, but I think it’s going to be pretty explosive for the Cristina-Owen ones,” Shonda Rhimes says.
Or Cristina and Teddy. Expect a serious student-teacher face-off March 31.
Finally, the April-Stark dynamic. Sarah Drew says the following:
“The April-Stark situation takes some fun, interesting twists and turns… In an [upcoming] episode, you see her stand up for herself in a pretty awesome way. It’s cool to see [April] come into her own and not be such a nervous Nellie about everything.”
