Jane starts to lose her patience with Fabian. When she makes her intentions known, Fabian is also ready to have sex, but thinks their relationship is much more serious than Jane does. After pulling a Tom Cruise jumping on the couch moment, Jane is horrified with Fabian. She makes it clear to him they are not going to have a long-lasting relationship and he never fell for her anyway. They agree to finally have a no strings attached fling together.
Chuck takes Petra to a motel in the middle of nowhere. While charging her cell phone, Petra listens to Rafael's voicemail declaring his love for her. She also gets a call from him and the police warning her abut Chuck, but she's already started to panic because she noticed the sea shells at around Scott's body are the same ones Chuck has on his bracelet. After escaping the room, Chuck stops Petra and explains he didn't kill Scott, he just wanted to tell her that he loves her. Later at the police station, Chuck tells the police he got the bracelet from a woman that night. Rafael tries to get Petra to say yes to starting their relationship again, but they are interrupted by the police with a sketch of the woman Chuck says he spoke to the night of Scott's death.
Xo and Rogelio reveal their engagement, but seem to not be interested in a big wedding. Alba is suspicious and asks Xo. She says they don't want to bring up and sad feelings for Jane because of Michael. When Alba tells Jane, she gives Xo and Rogelio her blessing to have an extravagant wedding.
Mateo asks Jane about how babies are born and where he came from. Jane and Rafael sit down with Mateo to explain to him just he came into the world.
Jorge tells Alba he loves her.
