There are some couples on TV that are a breath of fresh air and then there are others who are just a complete waste of time.
For every Nathan and Haley from One Tree Hill, there’s a Ryan and Natalie from Quantico.
We’ve compiled a list of couples that should totally call it quits and move on.

Frank and Laurel – How To Get Away With Murder
Laurel and Frank may have a weekly steamy hook up that has us questioning why they got away with it on Broadcast TV, but what Laurel doesn’t know is that Frank is a cold blooded killer and she’s probably as expendable to him as Rebecca was.
Luke and Joanna – Heroes Reborn
They may be on the outs right now, but I’m not ruling out a reunion between them before the season concludes. Joanna has taken her husband on a brutal killing spree of all the evolved humans and it isn’t exactly a healthy thing to do.
Mary and Francis – Reign
The show seems to want us to think they love each other, but it’s glaringly obvious they don’t. There is ZERO chemistry between them and Mary seems to always have her eyes on some other fool. With Francis dying this season, why not just let them stay apart until he goes?
Ryan and Natalie – Quantico
Ryan and Alex may have been between the sheets 9 months ago, but whenever the show takes us to the present narrative, I get so close to switching the TV off. Who the frack wants to see Ryan and Natalie together? Ryan is hot, Natalie is not. Well, she is, but her personality is just horrid.
Hayley and Jackson – The Originals
Jackson is a decent enough character, but he’s standing in the way of Haylijah, so if he must leave, he’d be rendered collateral. We want to see Haylijah be totally together, but that isn’t going to happen with Jackson in the mix.
Olivia and Fitz – Scandal
These two have been through A LOT, but they’ve kind of gotten long in the tooth and I could care less if Fitz was even part of the show any more. Why not have him on the back burner and see how much better Olivia could do? It might stop the ratings fall.
Gigi and Wes – Scream Queens
This pairing has also been rather tedious and what makes it that much worse is that we know Gigi is the one leading the charge in the killings on campus. Wes is also too good for Gigi. She’s a manipulative bitch and he’s probably going to wind up dead because of her.
Noah and Alison – The Affair
I spent much of the shows opening season cheering this couple on, but this time round, Noah is showing his true colors and he isn’t the man we thought he was. The obscenity he wrote about Alison in his novel backs that up and we hope she ditches him… at least for some time.
Leonard and Penny – Big Bang Theory
When couples on TV get married they generally get pretty boring. That’s kind of happening over on this CBS hit and it’s making the show cumbersome to watch. We watch for the laughs, not for dull couples taking up too much of the half hour.
Stiles and Malia – Teen Wolf
Am I one of the only ones still shipping Stydia? I have nothing at all against Malia. She’s a nice enough gal, but she’s kind of coming between Stydia ever being a thing, so for that reason, these two need to call it quits.
Piper and Alex – OITNB
Sure, they were interesting… in like Season 1, but Piper has continued to be one of the most neediest people on TV and her attention has swayed somewhat from Alex. We don’t blamed her because RUBY ROSE, but she has no loyalty.
Ray and Abby – Ray Donovan
Ray totally cheats on her and can’t commit to marriage and family in the way that Abby needs. so they should separate and do what makes them happy. There is every opportunity to reunite down the line, but unless Ray changes, that’s not going to happen.
April and Jackson – Grey’s Anatomy
These two aren’t fooling anyone. They are just not right for each other and they should like end it before it’s too late. What’s the point of hurting each other when you both know it’s never going to work? The mind boggles.
