Abigail (Abby) Devereaux – Days of Our Lives
The child of Jennifer and Jack Devereaux has grown to be quite the minx and a foil for Sami, who describes her thusly: “If it weren’t for poor, little, slutty Abby, if you wouldn’t have had sex with her none of this would have happened.” Would Sami have as much venom if Abby were called by another name?
Abby Bennett Wilson – The Vampire Diaries
Bonnie’s mother Abby wasn’t much of a presence in her life. First a witch, she was later turned by Damon into a vampire. She does care enough to give Bonnie advice, “I’m not the one that needs to be saved. You are.” But — we don’t know if she knew Bonnie was the anchor or even died (twice). Scatterbr-abby.

Yet another Abby tasked with saving the world. It’s an Abby thing. Her husband was floated and her daughter was sent to earth as one of 100 test cases for moving back to the planet, but she never stopped fighting to save lives. “You don’t understand. Abigail Hobbs – Hannibal
The meaning of the name Abigail is akin to “the father’s joy,” which is discocerting when you think about the fate of Abigail Hobbs. Even Hannibal Lecter didn’t save her. We would have expected more for an Abby. Abigail: “How many people have you killed?” Lecter: “Many more than your father.” Abigail: “Are you going to kill me?” Lecter: “I’m so sorry Abigail. I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you in this life.”
Abby Newman – The Young and the Restless
The daughter of Ashley Abbott and Victor Newman has taken on many faces over the years, but she’s always been a firecracker. Would you expect any less coming from that union?! “My name is Abby Newman and I’d rather be naked than wear fur!”
Abby Day – New Girl

There has to be one bad apple, but it doesn’t have to spoil the whole bunch! This one is the least cool of the Abbys, but she’s starting to take some control. “You know what? She’s right! I am a victim! We’re all your victims!”

As the principal aid to the Police Commissioner, Frank Regan, Abigail doesn’t have a big role, but an important one. “The Comissioner has left the building.” She’s also played by Abigail Hawk for bonus Abby points!
