There are some characters on TV that talk way too much.
They can be the nicest of people, but they just can’t stop talking.
They take talking to a whole new level and it leaves us wishing they would put a sock in it.
We’ve compiled a list of 17 characters that really need to do just that.
Frank – Shameless
There are times when Frank speaks the truth, but most of the time he has his mouth open, he’s trying to find a way to screw his family over for his gain. He’s not the best of people. That’s for sure. Remember that time he talked too much and it resulted in Liam being held prisoner?

Chet – UnREAL
There was a time when Chet was a great character on UnREAL, but he’s just faded into mediocrity. He pops up here and there to lay down the facts about why Everlasting is his show, but what he doesn’t seem to realize is that he didn’t make the show.

Daenerys – Game of Thrones
She may be the mother of dragons, but don’t all of her big speeches seem to ramble on with little action? It took her six seasons to decide to go to Westeros. There’s no denying that she’s a signature character, but she just talks too damn much.

Jack – Suits
This dude is nothing more than an opportunist. His most recent plan to try and serve Jessica was hilarious. Maybe if he didn’t move where the power was at every turn, I’d have been able to feel at least a little sorry for him. Hopefully we don’t see him again.

Noah – Scream
Am I the only one that thinks Noah could be the killer on Scream? He won’t shut up about horror movies and having put up with it for almost two seasons, I’m done. His podcast was a great concept, but it just seems like an easy way for him to point the finger at everyone apart from him.

Negan – The Walking Dead
Negan is one scary dude, but did anyone else want him to shut up and let us know who he was killing? That whole speech he made was creepy and calculated. I sure hope it was a one off.

Margaret – The Affair
Meddling is not a good trait to have. Margaret knows that, but it doesn’t stop her trying to dictate every single thing her daughter does. Helen was right to throw her out, but Margaret is one of those characters that can worm her way back in.

Bridget – Ray Donovan
Bridget’s sole purpose right now on Ray Donovan seems to be to make her parents constantly worry about her. Her relationship with the teacher was a step too far and no matter how much she tries to defend it, it’s not right.

Lucious – Empire
This dude seems to think that everything is about him and that he should have a say in everything. The fact of the matter is that he needs to put a sock in it and let people make their own decisions. Did anyone else LOVE when his mother appeared and he wouldn’t talk back to her?

Alie – The 100
Alie was a huge reason why The 100 Season didn’t live up to the previous seasons. Everyone listened to everything she said, no matter how ridiculous it was. Hopefully there’s no way she can return.

Tyrell – Mr. Robot
Whenever Tyrell speaks he goes off in the most annoying tangents. At least when Elliot goes off topic, he’s still engaging. Tyrell just sort of flounders.

Angela – Rizzoli & Isles
Angela’s a typical mother who takes great pleasure in embarrassing her daughter. It’s fun to watch on screen, but we know Jane wants her to put a sock in it.

Jo – Girlfriends’ Guide To Divorce
Jo is that friend that everyone wants. She’s also that friend that you want to shut up, sometimes. She’s hilarious, but she talks over her friends, and that can get pretty annoying.

Louie – Major Crimes
Louis is a great guy, but he just seems to say things at the wrong time. He gets himself in all sorts of trouble with it, but we wouldn’t have him any other way!

Piper – Orange Is The New Black
Piper was a hoot when the show first debuted, but she just turned into one of the worst characters on television. She seemed to think she was entitled to everything in Litchfield and wouldn’t shut up about it.

Sara Harvey – Pretty Little Liars
Sara Harvey has never been a genuine character on Pretty Little Liars. She was a little too obsessed with Emily and told her crazy stories to keep her on feeling bad for her.

Crowley – Supernatural
Crowley just always seems to show up at the wrong time and uses his cosmic wit to try and make people laugh. It works most of the time, but he needs to zip it sometimes.
