The lengths that Bellamy and Clarke will go for each other is incredible as a shipper, but also downright terrifying. Clarke let a bomb drop on TonDC so Bellamy wouldn’t get discovered, and Bellamy threatened to kill 283 innocent people if Clarke wasn’t released from her captives.
Slade Wilson – Arrow
Slade’s feelings for Shado, while real, inspired him to do some pretty horrific things. He blamed Oliver for Shado’s death and kidnapped the woman he loved in order to inflict the same pain that he felt all those years ago.
Damon Salvatore – The Vampire Diaries
Damon always did sketchy things, but his main reason for being such a villain in the first season was his love for Katherine. He was willing to kill anyone who got in the way of saving her, so it must have been pretty disheartening to discover she wasn’t even in trouble in the first place.
William – Westworld
When William was separated from Dolores, he would do anything to see her again. He ended up becoming a murderer in his quest to find her and realized that he enjoyed his new lifestyle.
Leslie Dean – Marvel’s Runaways
Leslie ran both the Church of Gibborim and PRIDE and used her position to her advantage. She sacrificed kids for years in order to revive her lover, Jonah.
Angel – Buffy the Vampire Slayer
When Angel fell in love with Buffy, the spell that kept his evil vampire side at bay was broken. In this case, love really was the thing that unleashed evil.
Joel Hammond – Santa Clarita Diet
You’re supposed to stand by your spouse through thick and thin, but does that include a new flesh-eating diet? Regardless, Joel still loved his wife and he helped her bury the bodies of her victims.
Emma Swan – Once Upon a Time
Even though their love for each other is true, Emma’s feelings for Hook unleashed evil in every sense of the word. Despite everyone’s warnings, Emma chose to save Hook which turned both Hook and Emma into The Dark Ones.
Noah Bracken – Roswell, New Mexico
Noah Bracken’s love for Rosa wasn’t just creepy, it was dangerous. He became a serial killer who used other people’s bodies (his wife’s included) to do his murdering for him. He was so angry that Rosa didn’t love him back, that he killed her and two other innocent girls. But it didn’t end there. Over the years, Noah left a trail of bodies all over Roswell.
Vanya Hargreeves – The Umbrella Academy
Vanya had always felt neglected by her adopted father and the rest of her family. After being betrayed by the person she loved and having a falling out with her sister, the hurt made her trigger the apocalypse.
Joe Goldberg – YOU
Joe Goldberg was inherently psychotic, but his obsession with Beck pushed him over the edge. He was so jealous of anyone that would look in her direction, that he ended up murdering her friends before he killed her.
Walter White – Breaking Bed
The entire reason Walter got caught up in meth in the first place, is because he loved his family and wanted to make sure they would be okay. But it ended up leading him down a very dark road and his motives began to change as the series went on.
Randolph Bell – The Resident
Bell’s love for Hunter made him blind to all the evil things that she was doing. Hunter was murdering patients and giving them unnecessary treatments that could kill them. Bell refused to see reason until the end of Season 1 and unintentionally helped Hunter keep up her charade.
Taylor Hotchkiss – The Perfectionists
After Taylor’s brother was killed, she was determined to bringer his murderer to justice. She ended up shooting Caitlin’s boyfriend Jeremy, but it was later revealed that he was innocent.

Shane’s love for his best friend’s wife ended up being his ultimate downfall. Lori’s refusal to be with him when her husband turned up alive led to a series of events that ended with him trying to kill Rick.
