Will Lucious be set free?
That’s one of the main questions we have going into Empire Season 2 Episode 1. Should he even be free? That’s another question. There’s no denying we have been craving more of the Lyon family since Empire Season 1 concluded a few months ago.
It sure looks like Cookie is having an easier time with her family. In the first picture gallery for Empire Season 2, it looks like she is being accepted in Lucious’ absence. Will she want him back?
Anika pops back up, but we don’t quite know how she fits into these new episodes. Will she still be getting down and dirty with Hakeem? We’ll have to tune in for those answers.

Cookie is getting way too comfortable thinking she’s running Empire with her sons. Just look at her in that cage! She looks amazing. I wonder how many donkeys she talked the back legs off to get in that cage!

It looks like the Lyon clan are far from ready to let Lucious’ imprisonment stick. They want their cause to be heard and if that means singing it, then they’ll do it. It is a bit shocking that Cookie is present. Is she doing it for her kids, or does she still hold a torch for her treacherous ex?
United – Empire Season 2 Episode 1
Who’d have thought that back when Empire kicked off, these two brothers would be able to sing on stage? Lucious LOVED putting a wedge between them, but it seems clear now that Cookie is doing her best to keep the family together.
Trouble Brewing – Empire Season 2 Episode 1
It’s never going to be sunshine and roses for the Lyons, so either one of these two are up to something and it probably involves stealing control of the company from the other, but will it cost them their relationship?
Sharing Tips – Empire Season 2 Episode 1
Is Cookie sharing some tips about how to survive on the inside with Lucious? We can only imagine the way she’d be talking down to him with her witty one liners. Will Lucious actually be nice to her? Probably, at least until he gets out.
