Judging by these teases released by HBO today for Game of Thrones Season 6, we’re in for some big, devastating battles when the series returns.
The gauntlet is being thrown by Ramsay Bolton to…someone. We’re guessing Jon Snow, but it could be any lord of the north.
Cersei will have her hands full with the High Sparrow and his militant friends. Hasn’t she been shamed enough?
And Daenerys will be forced to fight the Dothrakis to prove she’s the queen we know her to be.
Honestly, it sounds like just what we’ve been waiting for.
Game of Thrones returns on April 24.
Garme of Thrones Season 6: Stark Battle Banner Tease
Alright. If I understand this right, the Stark Battle Banner tease from Game of Thrones Season 6 is Ramsay Bolton issuing a threat to either Jon Snow in particular or to all of the Lords of the North to try to take Wiinterfell from him.
Game of Thrones Season 6: Lannister Banner Battle Tease
This one is in reference to Cersei vs the High Sparrow. She’s allowed the Faith Militant to gather again, creating more problems for herself and perhaps all of Westeros. I love hearing the “shame, shame” chanting in the background.
Game of Thrones Season 6: Targaryen Banner Battle Tease
Finally, this Targaryen Banner Battle tease is in reference to what lies ahead for Daenerys and the Dothrakis. They don’t just accept her as their queen. Hardly. So she’s up for a hell of a fight. Do we doubt she’s going to win? Um. No.
