ALIE’s victory seems imminent on The 100 Season 3 Episode 14.
After successfully forcing Kane to accept the chip in exchange for sparing Abby’s life on The 100 Season 3 Episode 13, ALIE gained a wealth of information about the delinquents’ plans and whereabouts.
None of the preview photos feature ALIE or anyone at Polis or Arkadia, so we have to imagine that ALIE’s army is closing in on Clarke and the others at Luna’s oil rig.
For their part, Clarke, Octavia, Bellamy, and Jasper are working hard to convince Luna to accept the flame and become the commander.
Many of the recently-released preview photos feature Clarke and the other delinquents in desperate conversation with Luna, probably trying to talk her into accepting the second AI.
Meanwhile, Jasper appears to have made a new friend among Luna’s people and is all smiles – for a second anyway. Since this is The 100, we know that the other shoe will drop any minute, putting a damper on Jasper’s newfound, brief happiness.

Convincing Luna – The 100 Season 3 Episode 14
Clarke needs to convince Luna to take the flame and become the next Commander — it’s the only way to save humanity from ALIE’s influence.
Backstory – The 100 Season 3 Episode 14
Will we learn Luna’s backstory in this episode? So far, all we know is that she fled the conclave in which Lexa won the Commandership. Aside from that, the last Natblida is an enigma.
Desperate to defeat ALIE – The 100 Season 3 Episode 14
Clarke and the others are desperate to defeat ALIE. What lengths will they go to in convincing Luna to accept the flame, activating the second AI and becoming the next Commander?
A Pacifist Commander? – The 100 Season 3 Episode 14
Luna seems to be a sort of pacifist and doesn’t believe that her anti-violence mindset will fit in well with the role of the Commander. Will she change her mind once Clarke explains the situation with ALIE?
Socializing – The 100 Season 3 Episode 14
It looks like Team Delinquents are socializing with Luna’s people in some kind of nighttime event. Unfortunately, they don’t have their party faces on, so the event likely isn’t going as well as they might’ve hoped.
A New Face – The 100 Season 3 Episode 14
Jasper appears to be having a great time talking to Shay (played by Nesta Cooper). Shay is a new guest star who seems to be one of Luna’s people.
A Smile?! – The 100 Season 3 Episode 14
Wow! A smile on Jasper’s face is a seriously noteworthy and unusual sight, given how depressed and unhappy he’s been all season following the traumatic death of Maya during The 100 Season 2 Finale. Despite Luna’s refusal to take the flame, something positive must have happened at this Grounder party — for Jasper, at least.
Uh Oh – The 100 Season 3 Episode 14
So much for that smile. Something crazy must be going down, based on Jasper’s expression and Shay’s hesitant look at him.
Making a Run For It? – The 100 Season 3 Episode 14
Is Jasper making a run for it? Certainly looks that way, based on his posture. There’s also a man holding a crossbow just behind him, so perhaps this gathering isn’t as casual and friendly as we initially thought.
Casually Drinking – The 100 Season 3 Episode 14
Everyone is holding cups as if they’ve been casually partying, but the expressions on the delinquents’ faces (eyes all turned to Luna) make it seem like something very bad is about to happen — or is already happening.
Uneasy – The 100 Season 3 Episode 14
Everyone looks uneasy as Clarke speaks to Luna. What is Luna saying to Clarke to cause that distressed look on Clarke’s face? Is she just continuing to refuse the post of the Commander? Or something worse?
Angry Clarke – The 100 Season 3 Episode 14
Is it just me, or has Clarke gone from looking distressed to looking kind of angry? It would be understandable because Clarke is certainly stressed out. In a relatively short amount of time, she’s tragically lost the woman she loved and has been thrust into a crazy journey to find the only person who can save them all — only to have that person refuse to do it.
Plotting – The 100 Season 3 Episode 14
Are the delinquents plotting some way to either convince or force Luna to accept the flame? Here we see Octavia, Bellamy, and Clarke chatting privately around a fire, while among Luna’s people. To force Luna to accept the flame would be terrible… but then again, this group has made terrible choices to protect everyone in the past.
Standoff – The 100 Season 3 Episode 14
There appears to be some kind of standoff between Luna and Bellamy, as Clarke looks on uneasily from the side. Luna is looking at Bellamy like she might just give up her pacifist inclinations for a second to hit him, while Bellamy’s hands are outstretched as if he’s trying to entreat Luna to do as they say.
Discussing Lincoln – The 100 Season 3 Episode 14
I’m not positive, but I’d be shocked if this photo wasn’t depicting Luna and Octavia as they discuss Lincoln’s death. Luna was a friend of Lincoln’s, and Octavia struggling with Lincoln’s death has been a big theme for her over the last few episodes. Just look at her sad, distracted expression. They must be discussing Lincoln’s demise.
