And that’s that. NCIS and Cote de Pablo have parted ways.
On last night’s episode (see our NCIS review), the Tony and Ziva “moment” finally happened, albeit in a bittersweet way as he boarded a plane back to the U.S. while she stayed in Israel shortly thereafter.
Believable and sad, it closed out her chapter on a positive note, leaving the door ajar for a possible return down the line as Ziva’s exit from the team was done in a open-ended and non-incendiary way.
For now, though, she is gone. Where does that leave the team?
Looking ahead to next week, NCIS must rely on Twitter in a case involving a missing Navy Lieutenant. Meanwhile, McGee misplaces his badge but withholds information from Gibbs and the authorities.
