Fans may need to wait all the way until 2016 to see what Jamie and Claire are up to on Outlander Season 2.
But they need not wait any longer for their first look at this gorgeous couple in France.
As part of its panel at Comic-Con in San Diego tonight, the smash hit drama unveiled a trio of photos from upcoming episodes.
The first (above) features Claire and Jamie seeming to enjoy their new country quite a bit, while the second pair hones in on each character by his or herself.
Outlander Season 1 concluded with Claire and Jamie setting sail for France in order to quell the Jacobite rebellion led by Prince Charles Stuart.
As teased in the official network synopsis, the two will receive help next year from Jamie's cousin, Jared, a local wine merchant.
At the outset of Outlander Season 2, Jamie and Claire will be thrown into the world of high French society, where intrigue and parties are abundant, yet political gain proves far less fruitful.
Trying to alter the course of human history may end up taking its strain on this relationship as well.
However, "armed with the knowledge of what lies ahead, Claire and Jamie must race to prevent a doomed Highland uprising, and the extinction of Scottish life as they know it."
