Perry Mason Season 2 Episode 8 Recap: Chapter Sixteen

Camila practices an unorthodox self-care routine.

In Perry's office, Della refuses to believe that Camila was behind the murder of Brooks. Paul and Claire walk in and inform them that they have found out that Camila's right-hand man's wife is a junkie.

Perry wants to take the information to Hamilton, but Della refuses and finally gives in, revealing that Hamilton is being blackmailed.

Perry talks to the judge outside the courtroom and asks him not to rule a mistrial for the case in exchange for the judge giving him a separate punishment.

The judge agrees to avoid a mistrial verdict in exchange for admitting the gun in court and Perry being jailed for four months.

Fipsy's wife struggles with detoxing. Perry, Della, and Paul confront him with the discoveries and blackmail him with jail time unless he gets them Hamilton's photos and negatives from Camila's house.

The prosecution lays out a strong case using the gun.

Fipsy retrieves the photos and their negatives from Camila's house. They have an encounter that leaves a bad taste in Fipsy's mouth.

Team Perry takes the photos to Hamilton and begs him to offer them a deal and prosecute Camila. After hesitating, he agrees to drop charges for one brother, and the other gets thirty years in jail without parole.

They take the deal to the brothers, and Mateo agrees to take the hit.

Thomas is fired from the case.

In court, Mateo pleads guilty and is sentenced to thirty years in prison while Rafael is set free.

Before surrendering himself to jail, Mason apologizes to Miss Aimes. He goes to jail.

Della confronts Camila, who doesn't deny the allegations. The FBI arrives at her residence.

Lydell receives communication that The FBI is looking for him and that he should stay in Japan.

Della and Hamilton continue to pose as a couple.

Paul takes on a job from the powerful black man.

Mateo has enrolled in art school and misses visiting Mateo as the rest of the family visits.

Mason stares at the photo of his son in a jail cell.
