Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 3 Episode 6 Recap: Into the Darkness

Raq returns home and answers the door to Pernessa, pulling a gun on her and demanding to know where Unique is. The two fight before Raq disarms her.

Famous gets in the booth and records with Lou-Lou.

Raq and Pernessa talk, and Pernessa fills in Raq on what the police found at the tailor shop and Unique’s disappearance for the last week. Raq is skeptical it could be Ronnie who got to Unique, but Pernessa doesn’t believe it.

Famous confides in Lou-Lou that he feels better confessing things through music, and Lou-Lou tells him to let the truth save him.

Tanner tells Howard he thinks Crown is a red herring and feels like the task force is progressing.

Butta performs for some music executives, and after they finish, Marvin talks to them, upsetting Jukebox, who kicks him out.

Famous returns to the apartment with Kanan and admits to him that he saw Raq put the gun in Kanan’s backpack. Kanan then tells him he sold him out and kicks him out.

N’Kiyah tells the girls of Butta that there’s no connection between them and someone needs to step up and be the leader.

Ronnie takes cash and jewelry from Unique’s house and pushes Pernessa to the ground when she confronts him.

Ms. Walsh, the social worker, stops by Raq’s house again and overhears her and Kanan arguing. She then proceeds to talk to Kanan alone.

Howard tells Baptiste he wants to transfer to narcotics, and the captain tells him he’ll look into it.

Ronnie goes to Juliana’s and tells her that Ronnie is gone, so they can now do business. Juliana tells him they will work together in secret, which prompts Ronnie to give her the money and jewelry he stole from Unique.

When Raq joins Kanan and Mrs. Walsh, the social worker reveals it went well and is pleased with Kanan’s progress. But after she leaves, Raq and Kanan argue about her putting the gun in his bag.

Marvin talks to Lou-Lou about his struggles trying to be there for Jukebox.

Paul confronts Kanan about messing with his business since he has no couriers. He threatens Kanan, and Kanan threatens him back before relenting and having some of his guys help Paul. Ronnie then shows up and invites Kanan to a party.

Raq meets with Howard and asks about Unique. Howard tells her there’s no body, but Unique is dead.

Marvin apologizes to Jukebox for his outburst.

Raq visits Lou-Lou at Café Vous to make amends and offer support. Lou-Lou tells her he doesn’t believe she’s out and that he made decisions for her, which she denies. After she leaves, Lou-Lou starts drinking.

Marvin and Gerald catch up at a park, and Gerald tells him he’s interested in writing about Jukebox. A man then approaches Marvin, claiming to recognize him from his time with Toni, but Marvin denies knowing him.

Kanan, Iesha, and Jukebox go to the party Ronnie invited him to and meet Snaps and Pop. Jukebox tries to leave the party, but Ronnie wants Kanan to stay and meet people. Kanan decides to stay, against Jukebox’s wishes.

Lou-Lou gets drunk and has visions of Scrappy.

Snaps and Pop tell Kanan they want to partner with Kanan.

Raq and Marvin talk outside the salon as she deals with a leak inside. She wonders why she’s trying so hard to be something she’s not when no one believes she’s out.

Later, Marvin and Raq meet with Stefano, and she tells him she wants to take over for Unique, which he agrees to.

Ronnie wakes Kanan up bright and early to get to work.

Tanner tells Howard they’re looking into Marvin.

A drunk Lou-Lou visits Scrappy’s mother and tells her he is responsible for Scrappy’s death.
