Paige plans a surprise party for Emily’s birthday while trying to help her find an alternative plan for her future. At the party, Spencer and Aria try to confront Jenna and Shana about a conversation they overheard earlier at school. Unfortunately, Jenna is nearly drowned, and Spencer demands that Shana tell her if it was Ali who did it. Shana claims that Ali is dead and that Jenna is terrified of CeCe Drake. Meanwhile, Ashley is released on bail, courtesy of Pastor Ted who happily attempts to rekindle their relationship. Ezra prepares himself for a custody battle when Maggie gets accepted to a graduate school in Seattle.
