Evan: What were you thinking?
Mandrake: I did what I thought was best for you, sir.
Evan: You always think you know what's best for me, don't you? Well, this time, you were wrong, Allen.

Mick: I'd have clocked her, too.
Abby: Not helping, dad.

There's something you need to know about Evan. He sometimes has moods. He calls them hibernations. He locks himself away and doesn't communicate with anyone except for business.

Mandrake

Bree: The police told us what you did.
Luke: Yep.
Bree: You could have been killed, Luke.
Luke: Well, it seemed like the right thing to do at the time.
Bree: Yeah, it was brave, but...

Bree: Sarah's baby shower. I don't have a gift. Do you have any ideas?
Abby: Well, Kevin and Sarah do have a baby registry.
Bree: What? Why didn't you tell me this before?
Abby: Because I wanted to get the best gift.

I had no idea this much went into war reenactments.

Jess

Abby: You know, there are other ways of dealing with anxiety.
Evan: You mean like finding the root cause and addressing it?
Abby: Yes.
Evan: Yeah, it does not work for me. Give me distraction every time.

Evan: Mandrake is not essential to the running of the company or my life.
Abby: Ah. You know your socks don't match.

Evan: It's weird. I know we kind of just started dating, but I feel like I've known you forever.
Abby: Awww. It kinda sounds like you love me.

I guess we're the same sign. Born on the same day. And hey, maybe we are soulmates.

Luke

Dennis: You are the only one that I trust.
David: You can't manipulate me anymore.
Dennis: The combination to the safe is the license plate of your first bike.
David: What?
Dennis: The Green Phantom Schwinn? Vintage tags? You rode that bike every day. I only wish that I had told you how happy I was that you loved my gift.

Luke: Happy just another day.
Bree: Happy just another day to you, too.
