Woman: This is what it's like to be Asian in America these days.

Woman: I was born here. I lived her all my life, not that it should matter. And I've experienced things before but nothing like this. COVID and the lies that have been told about us have unleashed hatred like nothing I've ever seen before.
McCoy: You wanted this case, Nolan. I went out on a limb to get it for you. If Nelson walks, this city's faith in this department will be shaken.
Price: We aren't going to lose. You have my word.
McCoy: I don't care about your word. I care about results.
McCoy: There's one catch. This deal is predicated on you asking for the death penalty.
Price: I don't know if I can separate my personal beliefs from this case.
McCoy: Your personal beliefs are not part of the equation.
John: I'm doing you a favor! They're killing Americans. They have to go back to China where they belong!
Shaw: You're under arrest.
Cosgrove: That means you're going to Rikers, where you belong.
Shaw: Any history of mental illness?

Price: Do we have any idea why Jessica Farrell is refusing to cooperate?
Cosgrove: That's the million dollar question.
Shaw: We'd like to compel her to go before the grand jury. That way, she might tell them what she's refusing to tell us.
Price: We go that route, we'll have to immunize her, which could backfire.
Cosgrove: Got a better idea?
Price: Not at the moment, but I'm not excited on giving someone a free pass on a mass shooting without more information.
Cosgrove: The entire city is at a standstill waiting for us to get off our asses and do our jobs. What if he goes out and kills again? You want that on your conscience?
Dixon [interpreting sign language]: We both know that John is really really mean.

Shaw: Lady, seven people died this morning because of this man, and you're pulling this?
