Maddie: We failed him.

Easy: We are the system.
You know, I used to think life in prison is worse than death because you have to sit there every day, struggling with your guilty conscience over what you'd done. But then I realized most of the people who were there don't have any conscience.
Bellows
Judge: Do you have any other witnesses?
Maddie: No, because they're all being murdered!
Troy: You know, ten years ago a white girl like you wouldn't be caught dead in a city like this.
Maddie: You don't know me.
Troy: And you don't know me. See, everything requires acceptable losses. Your client, Devon what's his name, is an acceptable loss.
Davon Watkins is going to die in four days for a crime your boss committed. You used to be a DEA agent. You were one of the good guys. What the hell happened?

Easy: With all due respect, your Honor, that ruling flies in the face of all reason.
Judge Fry: Excuse me?
Easy: I'm sorry, your Honor, if anything I have said has offended you.
Judge: Oh, you haven't offended me. But it is nice to see you again, Ezekiel. You haven't appeared before me in quite some time.
Linda: Three years in NA taught me that all of our stories have different beginnings but the endings are all the same.
Levi: How did you get started? I heard rumors that you were all on Adderal in high school.
Linda: We wanted to get skinny.
Woman: I always thought I would fight back. But I couldn't. I was paralyzed and he was going to kill me.
Easy: I'm so sorry. None of this was your fault.
Maddie: I'm not giving up.
Amina: Neither am I. What's next?
Maddie: I'm going after Troy D.
Amina: There's no breaking down that door.
Maddie: Then let's break down a different door.
Easy: Judge Fry is one of the best legal minds in the country and is highly respected. He's been overruled exactly twice in 32 years on the bench.
Daniel: But he's wrong this time.
Easy: I know. We just need to prove it.
