Ambrose
Jamie: Why do you need me to jump with you? Why can't you just jump on your own?

Jamie
Jamie: Are you going to show him those pictures?

Jamie: Why not?

Jamie: To actually touch the void. Smell it. It's only then that we see past our delusions. We did that for each other. And now I want to do it with you.
Ambrose: Why?

Ambrose: And you need that again now.
Jamie: Yeah. Look, there's a more honest life than the one we've been living, and I know you've felt it too. This is the way to find it.
Ambrose: I know I would dig you up, but guarantee what I have that you would do the same for me.
Jamie: Harry, the whole point is to witness each other. To be there for each other. Leaving you underground defeats the purpose. I need you.
Professor: Man is so infinitely different from God he can only communicate with God indirectly.
Jamie: What about the potential to actually encounter God.

Jamie: [reading] When two people relate to each other authentically and humanly, God is the electricity that surges between them.
Nick: Can God create a rock he can't lift?

Nick: Can you answer the question?
Professor: Mr. Haas...
Nick: If you answer yes, then there exists a rock in the world that God can't lift. Ergo, he's not all-powerful. Answer no, and he can't create such a rock, again, not all-powerful. So, the very idea of an all-powerful god is a human creation and a flawed one, at that.
Harry: What happened last night?
Jamie: I fucked up. I really fucked up.
Jamie: If I turn myself in, my life is over. It's over. I am not crazy. I'm not out of control. Now, you said you understood how I feel. What if I was your brother? You'd be helpin' me out of this.
Ambrose: I'd be saying the exact same thing. There's no way around it. A confession right now will reduce your sentence. If you wait, it's gonna get worse.
Jamie: They'll just put me away. I am not a lost cause. Help me. I'm gonna get my life back.
Sonya: You have this habit of hiding under your detective hat whenever it's convenient. You're like a turtle.
Ambrose: Yeah, I guess I am.
Sonya: Maybe that's your spirit animal.
