Diane: I'm leaving, Maggie. Some of the others are coming with me, and you should, too.
Maggie: You need to be careful who you trust. You know that better than anybody.
Diane: You also have to know when to ask for help. It's harder than it has ever been, and it doesn't have to be. I respect the hell outta you, but I can't do this anymore.

Mercer: Apparently, someone on an unauthorized radio station has been talking to a rogue community outside of our walls. Hornsby's all over it. Tell me it wasn't you. Please tell me that you were not about to sneak out to meet some stranger at a rail yard.
Max: What could I say?
Mercer: Max, it's dangerous. For everyone at the Commonwealth, but especially for me and you. I gotta go. You better pray Hornsby doesn't realize that was your voice.

It was just dumb luck, honestly. I found the radio parts in a dumpster behind the municipal building. They'd never be left there for security reasons, so someone clearly thought it was trash. But it wasn't trash. It just needed some love.

Max

It’s nice when your hobby is also an apocalypse skill.

Carol

They never receive any mail. There’s lights on at odd hours, when they’re ostensibly closed. And while people go in and out with a fair degree of regularity, it’s usually just the same four people over and over.

Eugene

And who or what is that, exactly? The villain? The boogeyman? Or the best goddamn thing that ever happened to you? You’re right, Eugene. I did lie to you. Just like you and your friends lied through your teeth to get inside these walls.

Lance

Mercer: I was wondering when you were gonna figure that out.
Connie: If I was you, I would be really interested in who I was risking my life for.
Mercer: And if I were you, I might wonder why I’m out here digging for answers that we both know will never see the light of day.

But who’s keeping score, right? So, I did what I had to do to get you here. And you know what? You should be thanking me for it.

Lance

Judith: I'll take a witch hat.
Carol: Good choice.
Judith: Thank you.

Mei: Hey! You're one of the new people, right? I heard you all lived out in the wasteland, killing rotters?
Judith: Yeah, I guess.
Mei: Cool. So, there's probably nothing you're afraid of, huh? Come on, I'll show you where all the good candy's at. And I'm Mei.
Judith: Judith.
Mei: Cool name.

Princess: Hey, Mercer! Echate pa ca!
Mercer: Gonna need a translation.
Princess: I just wanted to say hi. You look very handsome tonight. Súper guapo.
Mercer: It's not my thing.
Princess: Oh, it is. Trust me.
Mercer: You know, uh... I hate these big events. Kinda boring. You want to make it more interesting? Join me?
Princess: I would be honored.
Door Clerk: Name?
Mercer: She's with me.
Door Clerk: There's a dress code.

Welcome to the kill house. In this exercise, killing is not your primary goal. I'm looking for speed and teamwork. Two teams of two will start the course simultaneously. One team goes through the house on the right, the other team takes the house on the left. There's one weapon per team that must be shared. Your objective... get through the house and all the rotters inside. There will be a rotter marked in red at the end of each house. First team to take out their red gets one step closer to earning their stripes. But fail to work as a unit... see what you get.
